The below terms apply to Bryan Rendzio, Barry Ansbacher, and Terrell K, Arline for court appointments and voluntary engagements.

Please note that if you are engaging an arbitrator or mediator through AAA (American Arbitration Association) the AAA rules, fees and policies will apply and may vary from the below schedule.

Facilities

We can host mediations and hearings at our offices in Orlando, Jacksonville, Orange Park, St. Augustine, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale and the Jacksonville Beaches. We can arrange for facilities, if desired, at other locations. We can also conduct mediations and hearings via ZOOM. We can also travel anywhere in Florida.

Mediation Rate Schedule

Two-party mediations are billed at a rate of $395 per hour. Mediations with three or more parties are billed at a rate of $595 per hour. Mediation expenses include facility rental, hotel, and travel to the extent applicable. There is no charge for mediator travel time or meal expenses. If requested, we can arrange for meal catering for participants and pass on the charge to the parties. Charges are divided equally among the parties unless agreed otherwise. A “party” is defined as one or more persons or entities who have a common interest and who are represented by the same attorney or law firm.

Arbitration & Private Judge Rate Schedule

Two-party arbitrations are billed at a rate of $395 per hour. Arbitrations with three or more parties are billed at a rate of $595 per hour. There is no charge for arbitrator travel time or meal expenses. Arbitration expenses include facility rental, hotel, and travel to the extent applicable. Charges are divided equally among the parties unless agreed otherwise. A “party” is defined as one or more persons or entities who have a common interest and who are represented by the same attorney or law firm. The cost and fees for private trial services are the same as for arbitration.

Payment

Credit is extended to counsel only, who are primarily responsible for payment. Bills are generally emailed to counsel one or two days after the mediation and are due and payable within thirty (30) days of receipt. In the case of pro se parties, arrangements may have to be made for advance payment of a retainer-based upon the anticipated charges or for payment to be made at the conclusion of the mediation.

Cancellation Policy

Ansbacher Law understands that unexpected circumstances arise that may require a party to cancel or reschedule a mediation or arbitration. For this reason, our firm does not charge a cancellation fee. However, please note that for any matters being conducted through the American Arbitration Association, cancellation fees and policies are governed by applicable AAA rules and policies.
