Ansbacher Law’s summer law clerks recently came together in Jacksonville for a week filled with professional development, mentorship, team building, and a closer look at the firm’s culture.

Summer law clerks Logan Hopson, Bianca Papa, Ali Blanchard, and Matthew Binder spent the week connecting with attorneys and one another across a series of activities in and around Jacksonville. Ali and Matthew traveled from the firm’s Coral Gables office to join Logan and Bianca at Ansbacher Law’s new Jacksonville office, giving all four clerks the opportunity to collaborate, build relationships, and experience the firm’s team-focused environment firsthand. The week began on Tuesday, June 30, with a boat day hosted by founding attorney Barry B. Ansbacher. Joined by several Ansbacher Law attorneys, the clerks enjoyed time on the water, tubing, food, and conversation outside the office. The outing offered a relaxed setting for the clerks to ask questions, get to know the attorneys, and continue building the professional relationships that are an important part of the summer clerk experience.

The afternoon gave the group another chance to connect with members of the firm in a more casual setting while enjoying one of the summer’s biggest sporting events.

The week continued Thursday with a firm bonding activity at beach bowling in Jacksonville Beach, followed by a golf cart tour with attorney Zachary Roth through Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, and Jacksonville Beach. The day concluded with dinner at Oceana, where attorneys and clerks continued the conversations, connections, and shared experiences that made the week memorable.

At Ansbacher Law, we believe the best legal education extends beyond research, drafting, and legal analysis. Our Summer Law Clerk Program is designed to give aspiring attorneys meaningful exposure to the practice of law, mentorship from experienced attorneys, and opportunities to understand what it means to be part of a collaborative Florida law firm.

The week was a reminder that strong legal careers are built not only through hard work, but also through guidance, relationships, and time spent learning from those around you. We are proud of Logan, Bianca, Ali, and Matthew for the energy and professionalism they have brought to the firm this summer, and we look forward to seeing all they accomplish in their legal careers.
