Attorney Barry Ansbacher was recently featured in Jax Today providing legal insight into the Duval County School Board’s headquarters move and related development offers.
Earlier this fall, Barry assisted journalist Megan Mallicoat in analyzing letters of intent from four developers, noting that successful offers depend not just on price—but on reputation, access to capital, and the sophistication to execute complex projects.
In the most recent article, Barry explained that “Ashco’s $17.5 million offer showed ‘real commitment’ in the way inspection periods and closing dates were structured, but a requirement that the property be ‘environmentally clean’ could have posed a challenge, as the property sits between two brownfield sites.”
