We’re proud to spotlight one of our latest attorneys, Martin Stern, a litigator with 30+ years of courtroom experience and a proven record of success in both state and federal trials.
Martin began practicing law in 1994 after graduating from Widener University School of Law, where he earned top honors in moot court competitions and was inducted into the Order of Barristers. He holds the AV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is admitted to practice in Florida, having also passed the Pennsylvania and Michigan bar exams.
Attorney Stern has argued and won several landmark cases, including Lefrock v. Walgreens, which established immunity protections for pharmacists; Hassan v. North Dixie Fitness, which helped define gym owners’ duty to supervise; and Gorham v. Zachry Industries, which shaped workers’ comp immunity law.
Before law school, he served six years in the U.S. Air Force, earning multiple commendations. He later chaired the Florida Bar’s Military & Veterans Affairs Committee and continues to serve his community through long-standing volunteer roles with Gilda’s Club South Florida and the Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk Trust.
