About the 2026 NEFL CAI Expo
Hosted by the Northeast Florida Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), the Annual Expo brings together community association managers (CAMs), board members, service providers, and industry professionals for a full day of education, networking, and engagement. The Expo includes multiple continuing education opportunities, a large tradeshow floor, and courses designed to address the most pressing operational and legal issues facing Florida condominium and homeowners’ associations.
Course Spotlight: 2025 Legal Update
The “2025 Legal Update” focuses on the most significant statutory and regulatory changes affecting Florida community associations, including condominiums and homeowners’ associations.
Attendees will gain clarity on:
- Key statutory amendments impacting Chapters 718, 719, and 720, including changes to reporting, budgeting, and election procedures
- Milestone inspection and reserve funding compliance, including new deadlines and enforcement considerations
- DBPR-related updates and compliance obligations for boards and CAMs
- Practical implementation strategies to reduce legal and financial risk
The session is designed to move beyond theory and provide actionable guidance that boards and managers can apply immediately within their communities.
Why This Update Matters
Over the past several legislative sessions, Florida has seen sweeping reforms to condominium safety, reserve funding, governance requirements, and enforcement mechanisms. For board members and CAMs, staying current is no longer optional—it is essential to fulfilling fiduciary duties and protecting association assets.
This course provides a concise yet substantive breakdown of the 2025 legislative landscape, highlighting both newly enacted laws and emerging compliance trends that will shape association operations in 2026 and beyond.
