Miguel Gonzalez practices in the areas of construction and business litigation. He has experience litigating cases involving construction defects and delays, commercial disputes, real estate matters, fraud claims, contractual disputes, appeals, and protecting the assets of clients in post judgment proceedings. In addition to his in-court experience, he has successfully resolved matters ranging from partnership disputes to professional negligence claims outside of court. His practice also involves matters before arbitration tribunals. Mr. Gonzalez takes a strategic, client-focused approach – analyzing each matter from a comprehensive perspective to develop creative and effective strategies that advance his clients’ interests.
Mr. Gonzalez received his undergraduate degree from Florida International University and earned a Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2017. He is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association, and is admitted to the Florida Bar and the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida.
Mr. Gonzalez grew up and lives in Miami with his wife, Carolina. Like many Miamians, Mr. Gonzalez is an émigré, having been born in Cuba. He is fluent in Spanish, and enjoys the fusion of vibrant cultures that the magic city brings together. He is an avid saltwater and backcountry fisherman.
